CHILDREN’S CHURCH

(Ages 5-11)

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Westside holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. The kids here at Westside Christian Church are just like everyone else.  We treat them with respect, show them how appreciated they are and listen to them.  You will find that Children’s Church is a fun, safe, encouraging environment that your kids will love.   They will continually be learning as the instructors break down the Bible in terms which they can understand and relate to.  Occasionally, there will be a question and answer session to fill in the blanks. Fun time making crafts.  We encourage memorizing bible scriptures to help them grow in their Christian walk.

Sunday’s at 10:30am the kids join together.  One time per month, we have Family Church where the children spend their time with their parents praising, worshiping and hearing about the Lord.  We feel it is important for the kids to see their parents praising and worshiping the Lord.  Kids learn by example and we feel this is a vital part of an experience that will benefit their future.
