Senior Pastor Kevin Miller
Pastor Kevin has served at Westside for over 9 years, serving as the Senior Pastor the last 5 years. He has a passion for teaching and preaching the Word of God, following the Apostle Paul’s example of “declaring the whole counsel of God”. He teaches verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book. He began in Matthew 5 years ago, and is currently in the book of Hebrews. Pastor Kevin is joined in ministry by his lovely wife, Mara. Mara teaches our Children’s Church class for ages 5-11. Pastor Kevin and Mara have been blessed with two wonderful children, Kyle, 6 and Natalie, 2.
Pastor Charles Nixon – Youth Ministry
Our Youth Pastor Charles Nixon has a heart for reaching out to the Youth. He and his wife, Jamie are a team who strive to provide a balance of great fellowship and the Word of God. Charles has many years of ministry experience including evangelism. They are blessed with 6 children which include ages from 26 down to 11, so they definitely have experience with dealing with Youth. Charles feels very blessed that the Lord has called him to Westside to guide the Youth along side the parents to build a strong foundation to last for many years to come. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Pastor Bert Allbritton – Worship Ministry
Our Worship Pastor at Westside is Bert Allbritton. Pastor Bert and his wife Lee have attended Westside for the past 2+ years. Pastor Bert’s musical background is extensive, covering some 40 years of ministry in churches across our nation. He strives to incorporate many styles and forms of music into life and worship at Westside. “As I lead worship, I want to reflect God’s vision for worship found in Revelation 4-5. These chapters are a vision of heavenly worship…Jesus Christ, our Lamb, has been sacrificed for our salvation and He is worthy of our honor, awe, praise and worship.” Praise Him! Praise Him! Gerald Holmquist – Elder
Serving as an Elder, Gerald and his lovely wife, Mary joined Westside Christian Church in 2004. He has faithfully served as a missionary in Brazil for over 30 years. His level of compassion for people and his passion for the Word of God and Jesus are contagious. We are blessed to have his wisdom and guidance.
